washing machine will not run any cycle?

If the washing machine is filling with water and agitating.but after agitating it will not go to spin cycle and also if you try to drain the water and no drain cycle happens then its the fault in the timer of the washing machine.The timer needs to be replaced to solve this issue.If the timer check out OK.Then its the problem of cold water supply in the washer.Check whether cold water supply like is turned on.If not then turn it On.If the line is turned on then check is the cold water entering the machine.if not then check the hose from where the cold water enters the machine.its blocked or got cracked and leaking.the hose needs to be replaced in this case.
